SHERWOOD, JOYCE ARLINE 1925 - 2009 Joyce A. Sherwood of Woodstock, NB passed away at her home Wednesday, March 11, 2009. Joyce was born at Three Brooks, Victoria Co. on June 22, 1925. Daughter of the late Lewis and Hazel (Tapley) Neilson. Joyce was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, active with the Diabetic Assoc. and volunteered with Meals on Wheels for many years. Her Children and Grandchildren survive her: Judy Sherwood of Vancouver, BC, and her son Randy; Kathy VanDine ( Charles) of Fredericton and their children Angie (Aaron) Hallett, Christie, Emily. Karen Parkinson (Robert) of Woodstock and their children Jason, Gina. Nola MacArthur (Brent) of Woodstock and their children Jess, Zack. Heather Sharpe (Barry) of Upper Woodstock and their children JoAnne (Adam) Hamilton, Daniel, Sarah, Laura, Hannah. Krista Calhoun (Alvin) of Fredericton and their children Alex, Jenny, Kurtis, Valerie. Cindy Strong (Brent) of Fredericton and their children Katelyn, Heidi. Dana Sherwood (Julie) of Woodstock and their children Brooke, Marlee, Savanna, Craig. Joelle Ibbitson of Jacksontown and her children Molly, Maddy, Ben, Luke. Brother-in-law Brian Frost of UK, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Malcolm Sherwood, sisters Gail Neilson and Shirley Frost and son-in-law Kendell Ibbitson. Visitation at The Culberson Funeral Home 188 Connell Street on Friday March 13, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 14, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Funeral services to be held on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from The Culberson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Hazel Jane Morris officiating. Interment in the spring at the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
