ANNIE ISABELL MILLER

MILLER, ANNIE ISABELL Annie I. Miller of Dumfries and formerly of Magundy passed away June 16, 2009 at Wauklehegan Manor, McAdam. Born at South Tweedside, NB in 1915, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Messer) Cleghorn. Annie was a Life member of the Anglican Church Women, the United Church Women and the Women's Institute. She is survived by three sons, Charles Holt (Edith), Magundy, Cecil Holt (Gaylia), Geary and Edmund Holt, Harvey; two daughters, Alice Cleghorn (Russell), Magaguadavic and Shirley Miller (Everett), Dumfries; two step-children, Everett Miller, Dumfries and Erma Price, Nashwaaksis; twenty-seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three sisters, Hazel Holt, Harvey, Eunice Cook, Oak Bay and Glenna Grant, Ottawa, ON; two daughters-in-law, Monica Holt, Harvey and Eveleen Holt, Geary; a son-in-law, Aulden Johnston, Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Annie was predeceased by her first husband, Edmund Holt; her second husband, William Miller; two daughters, Joeleen Hagerman and Mary Johnston; two sons, Raymond and Hazen Holt; a granddaughter, Susan Cleghorn; three sisters, Frances McMurtrie, Edna Charters and Ruby Rideout; three brothers, Hazen, Vincent and Irvine Cleghorn. Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Clement's Anglican Church, 6831 Route 102, Dumfries on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Michael O'Hara and Rev. Elaine Hamilton officiating. Interment in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
