McCLUSKEY, M. EILEEN - The death of M. Eileen McCluskey of Saint John, NB, formerly of Old Black River Road, wife of the late John R. McCluskey, occurred on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at her late residence, the Turnbull Nursing Home. Born in Saint John on December 20, 1919 a daughter of the late John Edward and Vitalena (LaTulippe) Fortune. Survived by three sons, John R. Jr. (Dorothy) of Midland, NB, Kevin and Michael (Mary-Kim), both of Saint John; two daughters, Mary McCluskey of Saint John and Monica (Carl) McGrath of Newfoundland; one sister, Gertrude LeRoy of Passakeg, NB; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, John; three sisters, Catherine, Eleanor and Helena; four brothers, Walter, Joseph, Charles and John. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Saturday (only) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Stella Maris Church, Bayside Dr., Saint John on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 11:00 am.
