Stanley "Stan" Nutt

Stanley "Stan" Nutt 1914 - 2003 "Stan" Nutt, 89, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, January 26, 2003. Born in England, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Elizabeth (Farnell) Nutt. Stan was employed with the T. Eaton Co. and retired with 47 years service. He was a member of Eaton's Quarter of a Century Club. He was an active member of Trinity United Church in Riverview where he was a greeter and passed out bulletins every Sunday and was a former member of the Church Choir. He was a veteran of W.W.II, served with the 14th Field Ambulance of the Royal Canadian Ambulance Medical Corps. He landed in France on "D" Day, June 6, 1944. He also served in England, Germany and Holland. He will sadly missed by his devoted friend Ann Bell, close friend Rowland Cook, his god child Brandy Tuzo and by his cousins living in England. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home 171 Lutz St. Moncton on Monday, January 27, 2003 from 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Carol Mullin Officiating. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 will hold a veterans service at Tuttle Bros. Monday evening at 7:00 pm. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the Spring. Donations in Stan's memory may be made to Trinity United Church Memorial Fund, Riverview.
