Jack Meronuk
February 11, 1940 - March 2, 2009
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather. Jack is survived by his wife Nomie, daughters Michele (Brent) and Lynele (Brad) and grandsons Matthew, Michael, Spencer and Simon. He is also survived by two sisters, Kathleen (Sam) and Madeleine (Bob), mother-in-law Lae Grieve, brother-in-law David Grieve, as well as many nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his parents Jean and Frank Meronuk, and father-in-law Bruce Grieve. Jack was very fortunate to have many long time friends, including his Paulley pals and hunting and fishing buddies. Jack was born and raised in Moose Jaw before being transferred to Winnipeg in 1965. He retired from the CPR Weston Shops in 1993 and truly valued the relationships he built there. After retirement, Jack enjoyed many outdoor activities and his life with \"Weird Old Nomie\" and the dogs. In keeping with Jack\'s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. If friends so desire, donations can be made in Jack\'s name to the Manitoba Lung Association.
