Albert "Al" E. Campbell Albert "Al" E. Campbell, 80 of Moncton, passed away on arrival at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, July 7, 2008. Born in Guelph, ON, he was the son of the late Walter and Margaret (Wheppler) Campbell. Al was a retired Civil Servant (Department of National Defense). He was a member of Mount Royal United Church, past patron of Fidelity Chapter # 36 OES Riverview and member of Keith Lodge #23 F & AM. Al was a Veteran of the Korean War (1950 - 1954), served with the Royal Canadian Navy and Canadian Armed Forces (Air Force). He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and quality time with his family. Al will be sadly missed by his wife of 58 years, Joan (Weir) Campbell; daughter, Vicki Ellis (Wendell), Hartland; sons, Stephen (Nancy), Halifax, Alan, Moncton, David (Colleen), Saint John, Mike (Julia), Baie Verte; grandchildren, JoAnn, Christopher, Lexi, Izzie, Tyson, Connor, Holly, MacKenzie, Tomas, Rebecca; great granddaughter, Haylee; brother, Brian, Kitchener, ON; sister, Mary, Toronto, ON; several nieces, nephews, cousins. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Tuesday, 7 to 9 pm. Keith Lodge Memorial Service, Tuesday evening, 6:30 pm, followed by Fidelity Chapter OES Memorial Service, 6:45 pm. Funeral service, Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 1:30 pm, Rev. Dr. Philip Griffin- Allwood officiating. Reception following the service.
