Thelma June Budd 1919 - 2008 Thelma J. Budd, of McLaughlin Dr., Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday, October 25, 2008, at the age of 89 years. Born in Lutes Mountain, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Hattie (Perry) Lutes. She was a member of Cherryfield Baptist Church. Thelma's greatest love was her family. A loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be sadly missed by her children, Freda Vermillion (Ken Sprague) and Wildia Smith (Joe) all of Moncton, Percy Budd (Helen) of Mississauga, Donald Budd of London, Ont., Ivan Budd (Sharon), Patricia Sherwood (Bob), Shirley Cripps (Stafford) and Harold Budd (Pauline) all of Moncton; by her adoring 19 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and by several great-great- grandchildren; one sister, Mona Bell of Hamilton; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Austin Enoch Budd on February 15, 1998; by her daughter Hattie Allen (the late Frank); and also by sisters, Grace West and Violet Myers; and two brothers, Perry and Norman Lutes. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz Street, Moncton with visitation on Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 1:30pm with Pastor Chet MacPhail officiating. Interment will be in Gladeside Cemetery.
