IAN REID PLUMMER
1943 – 2010 Ian Plummer, age 66, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 in Prince Albert, SK after a lengthy illness. He was born on July 2, 1943 in Esterhazy, SK. Ian was preceded in death by his mother Erma, and father Reginald. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon, sisters Arkley (Gordon) Felsing and Beverly (Mel) Felsing both of Rocanville, SK; his sons, Darren Plummer (Kim) of Prince Albert, SK, Derrick Plummer (Holly) of Reno, NV; daughter Dawn (John) Sullivan of Dublin, Ireland and grandson Brayden Plummer. Ian relocated to Prince Albert in 1958 where he was an employee of P.A. Bottlers for 25 years. He then started his own businesses, 3-D Distributors, 3-D Confectionary and later Northern Wholesalers. Ian truly loved his sales work and meeting all of the characters along the way, as well as fishing with his father in law. The biggest star of his life was his grandson Brayden. His love for his family and quirky sense of humor will be sorely missed. The family would like to express its gratitude to the staff at Victoria Hospital for the many kindnesses and excellent attention extended to Ian. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to the Canadian Cancer Society. There will be a family celebration of Ian’s life at a later date. Family and friends may send email condolences to www.riverparkfuneral.ca. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Colette Kadziolka.
