Born on March 1, 1924, on the Kelly Road, daughter of the late Paul and Margaret (Arsenault), Gallant. Cherished mother of Ralph (Paula), Roxbury; Harvey (Betty), Cascumpec; Roger (Robert), Duvar; Allan (Bev), Cascumpec. Loving grandmother of Kim (Rodney) Bernard, Cascumpec; Tracey (David) Bell, Mill River East; Tammy Jeffery, Roxbury; and great-grandchildren Colin, Elese and Leandra. Dear sister of Mary Perry, Belleville, Ont.; Reggie (Georgina) Gallant, O’Leary. Sister-in-law of Leo (Gertie) Jeffery, Summerside; Roy (Margaret) Jeffery, Summerside; Eileen Arsenault, O’Leary; Albert (Marjorie) Jeffery, Nail Pond; Rosie Lavingne, Scarborough, Ont.; Levi Jr (Grace) Jeffery, Woodstock, Ont. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday until 10 a.m., then to St. Anthony’s Church, Woodstock, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the Parish Cemetery.
