CRANE, Emma (Emmie) P. – Passed suddenly away at her home in Upper Island Cove on March 11, 2010, Emmie Crane, age 70 years. Predeceased by parents Reuben and Mildred (nee Russell) Mercer; brother John Samuel; brothers-in-law George Jones, Freeman Mercer, Austin Forward; sisters-in-law Hazel Mercer and Sybil Forward. Left with fond and loving memories her husband Walter of 51 years; daughters: Darlene (Tony) Brazill, Wanda (Larry) Seymour; son Wade (Marlene); brothers: Samuel (Judy), John (Bernadette); sister Glennis (Clarence) Mercer; grandchildren: Bradley (Lori-Lynn), Natalie (Vince), Natasha (Gary), Lillian (Chesley), Candace, Laura; one great-grandson Jaden; sisters-in-law Ethel Jones and Mary (Joshua) Coombs, along with a circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Hussey’s Funeral Home, Upper Island Cove. Funeral will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Upper Island Cove on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Upper Island Cove. In her memory flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
