Shirley Jean “Jeannie†Krumrei of Saint John, wife of Madison Krumrei, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born at Saint John on January 6, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Bill and Annie (Sellen) Freake. Jeannie was formerly employed in the medical office of Dr. S. Raju. In addition to her husband, Jeannie is survived by two daughters, Terrylynn LeBlanc (Kevin) of Digby, NS, and Gina Marie Morin (Robert) of Saint John; grandchildren Corrina Anne (Jody), Kyle Madison, Laura Jean, and Jacob Robert; two great grandchildren, Cole Christian and Brayden Alexander; three sisters, Debbie Ross, Joan Spencer, and Carol Kierstead (Earl), all of Saint John; three brothers, Sandy Freake (Doris) of Springdale, NL, Tony Freake (Shirley) of Saint John, and Charles Freake (Patsy) also of Saint John; and by several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Brenan\'s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM from Brenan’s Chapel.
