WISWELL, Kathryn Marie – 84, Yarmouth, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010 in Helen’s Board and Care. Born April 24, 1925 in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Kramer) Small. She was a registered nurse for a number of years before her retirement. She was a long time volunteer at Adsum House in Halifax and a former member of the Bedford Lawn Bowling Club. She is survived by her four daughters, Susan (David) Siscoe, Kathy (Robert) Cox, Martha (Wayne) Gibbs, and Betty Jane (Lynda) Wiswell; sister, Shirley Taylor; sister-in-law, Freda Small, and six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband, William Wiswell and brother, Arnold Small. Cremation has taken place and there was no visitation by request. A memorial service was held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 12 at Christ Church, Berwick with a reception that followed. Rev. Charles Bull officiated. A family graveside will take place at a later date in Fairview Cemetery. It was requested that there be family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to CNIB or Adsum House in Halifax.
