The family of the late Wilson Burton would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our family and friends for their support during the loss of our wonderful dad.

A special thanks to everyone who visited the funeral home, sent food, flowers, cards, emails and who made donations to the Alzheimer’s Society. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

To the Long Term Care staff at Western Memorial, thank you for caring for Dad the past two and a half years. To Sherry, Jackie and Paula, thank you for visiting us on the sixth floor during Dad’s final days, you always showed such compassion for Dad, thank you for that, it meant a lot to the family.

To Country Haven Funeral Home, Dwayne, Mark and staff, we cannot thank you enough for your professionalism and your personal touch. Your help eased our pain during this difficult time. A special thank you for fulfilling one last request at the end of Dad’s service, it meant more than you will ever know, words could never express our gratitude and appreciation.

To Reverend Cole and Reverend Avery. Thank you so much for your support during our time of need, we so appreciate having you both there. Reverend Avery, thank you for your personal touch to Dad’s service. It truly meant a lot to the family, he would have been proud.

Thank you Peter, Wayne, Blaine, Ed, Meryl and Leroy for being his pallbearers.

To Wayne Parsons, Rufus Drake and Edmund Walsh, thank you for singing and performing, you all did a remarkable job.

Peter, thank you so much for Dads tribute, you did such a wonderful job. You touched on so many of Dad’s qualities and bought so many special memories back to us all.

Dad was such a special man who touched a lot of people’s lives in a very positive way. We were blessed to have him in our lives. He will be truly missed.
