Passed peacefully away at Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank on 17 March 2010, age 90 years. Leaving to mourn daughters: Rita (Bob Shore), Winnifred Davidge (partner Otto Fiander), Mary (George May), Shirley (Jerry Adams); son Gerald Bambury (Nancy Acreman); two brothers: Freeman & Randell Caines of Pool\'s Cove, a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren extended family and friends. Remains resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin with visitation from 1-5 PM & 7 - 10 PM on Thursday and Friday. Funeral service at Zion United Church, Collins Cove, Burin on Saturday, Mar 20th at 2:00 PM. Donations can be made to Zion United Church Cemetery Fund, Burin, NL A0E 1E0. (Many thanks go out to the entire staff of Blue Crest Nursing Home for their care and support of our mother while she resided there).
