(1916-2010) - STE.-MARIE-DE-KENT, NB – Germaine Boucher, 93, of Villa Beau Soleil, Ste. Marie de Kent, and formerly of Ste. Anne de Kent, passed away peacefully at the Dr.-George-L.-Dumont Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 20th, 2010. Born in St. Gabriel de Kent, on December 18th, 1916, she was the adopted daughter of the late Gabriel and Christine (Poirier) LeBlanc. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Boucher (1999). She will be sadly missed by her eight children; Geraldine (Gerry) Dupuis of Moncton, Bernice (Valmond) Roy, of Ste. Marie de Kent, Alphe (Doreen) Boucher of Shediac Bridge, Simone (Tim) McGarvey of Fredericton, Maria (Don) McLean of Bathurst, Yolande (Donald) Cormier of Cocagne, Noe (Pauline) Boucher of Ste. Anne de Kent, and Andrea (Uldric) Daigle of Richibucto, 21 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind one brother; Alban (Rita) Leblanc of Scoudouc. Germaine was predeceased by one infant daughter; Annette, her biological parents Fabien and Marie Jeanne (Caissie) LeBlanc of St. Gabriel de Kent, brothers and sisters; Elise, Henriette, Jaddus, Donat, Maxime, Adolphe, Nathalie, Aurelie, Johnny, Frank, and Aurore.
Resting at the Ste. Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church slumber room, with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Tuesday from 2:00 pm until time of funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010 at 4:00 pm, at the Ste. Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church, Ste. Anne de Kent. If so desired, donations to the Dr.-Georges-L.-Dumont Regional Hospital, the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
