Gerald “Jerry Corkyâ€, 69, of New Britain, CT passed away on Monday, March 15, 2010 in Columbia, South Carolina, U.S. He was a Knight of Columbus for over 30 years. Jerry was born in Lakeburn Dieppe in N.B., Canada to the late Ernest and Clara LeBlanc. Jerry retired from General Dynamics in Groton, CT, U.S. He lived in Canada, New Britain and South Carolina yearly. He is survived by three sisters; Joan (Riveus) Vincent of Columbia, SC, Pauline (Alderic) Richard of Shediac River, N.B., and Verna (Fred) Covini of Ellenton, Florida, U.S.; a brother, Oswald â€Ozzie†LeBlanc Dieppe of N.B., Canada. He was also predeceased by two of his brothers, Ronald “Ronny†Bernadette Cocagne of N.B., Canada and Gervais (Leola) Dieppe, N.B., Canada; and a host of several nephews and nieces.
