It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rufus William Ellsworth announce his passing at the Bonne Bay Health Center, at Norris pt, N.L. on Sunday, March 28th, 2010 in his 80th, year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children; Gary ( Sharon ), Loretta ( Raymond ), Bill ( Winnie ), Dennis ( Moritta ), Roger ( Roxanne ), & Glen ( Judy ). 18 grandchildren; Llewelyn, Montgomery, Darcey, Rodney, Shelly, Kerry, Stacey, Jamie, Joanne, Travis, Samantha, Rockie, Kenny, Randy, Corey, Shane, Chelsea, & Brent. 12 great grandchildren, his brothers; Claude ( Betty ) & Sidney ( Cora ), sisters; Mae ( Curtis ), Savina ( Joseph ), & Edith. his brothers in law; Sidney ( Faye ), Philip ( Helen ), Samuel, & Wilfred ( Maisie ), sisters in law; Mrs. Janie Fowler & Rosie ( Alex ) Flynn. Also leaves to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. Rufus was predeceased by his wife; Stella Maris nee Buckle, daughter; Margaret, baby girl Ellsworth, brothers in law; Baxter, Robert, & Stanley., his sister in law; Lily Mae. The family will be receiving family and friends from the St. Mathews, Anglican church in Rocky Hr, N.L., today, Monday, March 29th, 2010 from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm, & continuing on Tuesday March 30th, 2010 from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm, from where also the funeral service will take place from on Wednesday, March 31st, 2010 at 2 pm with the Rev: John Olsson officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery at Rocky Hr, N.L. The funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, N.L.
