The death of Harold David Moss, age 61, of Norton, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Monday, March 29, 2010. He was the husband of Catherine (Hargreaves) Moss of Norton, NB. He was born at Fredericton Junction, NB on March 1, 1949, the son of the late Walter and Stella (Ferris) Moss. Harold is survived by his wife; stepsons Michael Price of Hampton, NB and Trevor Price of Saint John, NB; stepgrandchildren Holli, Ethan, Kiera and Elias; the heart felt adopted JoAnn McFarlane and Hatfield families; special niece Lois; sisters Cora and Robert Clark of Sussex, NB, Dorothy and Orville White of Shawville, QC, Leta and Gordon Kennedy of Kars, NB, Barbara Bond and Paul Chandler of Big Cove, NB, Muriel and Phillip White of Big Cove, NB, Marlene Welton of Mill Cove, NB, Dianne and David Vail of Oromocto, NB, Bertha and Alfred Dejeet of Mill Cove, NB; brothers Ron and Thelma Moss of Sussex, NB, Allen and Lois Moss of Zealand, NB, Chester and Jean Moss of Western Shore, NS, Everett and Audrey Moss of Woodstock, NB; brother in-law John and Glenna Long of Sussex, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by stepgrandgaughter Kylie Price; sisters Lena Vail, Violet Long, Marie Ferris; nephew David Moss; two infant sisters and two infant brothers.
He is resting at Abundant Life Church, 489 Main Street, Sussex, NB, with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held from Abundant Life Church on Friday, April 2, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Riverbank Cemetery at a later date.
