The family of the late Nellie Taylor would like to express our appreciation for the kindness given to our family during the illness and passing of our mother.

Thanks to good friends and family who provided her with food, company and well wishes over the past year. A special thanks to Joyce Humphries, Ruby Locke and Jean & Wally Madore who made it possible for Mom to stay in her own home as long as possible. Thanks for the phone calls, cards, e-mails, food, flowers and donations to charities in Nellie's memory and visits to the funeral home and presence at the funeral service.

Thanks to readers Jerry Dawe and Blanche Curtis and to Joyce Humphries for the beautiful tribute to Mom. Thank you to Wayne Thompson for playing the organ and singing and also the choir. Thank you to the United Church Women who arranged a reception for friends and family after the church service.

A special thank you to Dr. Peter Callahan and the staff of the Cancer and Palliative Care Units. You treated us with care and compassion. Our appreciation to Rev. Kim Waite who met with family and conducted a beautiful service and to Rev. Kim Waite and Rev. Beverly Snow who provided a service at the interment. Thanks to Jack and Sue Parsons who opened their home for family and friends following the interment. Finally, thanks to the staff of Country Haven Funeral Home for your help and support during this difficult time.

We are comforted and grateful for the care and support of family and friends.
