Owens, Catherine Roseline
The death of Catherine Roseline Owens of Haneytown, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, April 9th, 2010. Born in Petersville, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Butler) Hogan and the wife of of Bartley Owens.
Survived by her loving husband of 59 years Bartley; two sons, Tom of Keswick, and Leo (Marilyn) of Hanyetown; three daughters, Marilyn Acker (Barrie) of Lincoln, Sharon Best (Keith) of Fredericton, and Carol Chappelle (Al) of Geary; ten grandchildren and three great - grandchildren; two brothers, Paddy Hogan (Rose) of New Maryland and Alfie Hogan of Ontario.
Predeceased by her parents; one son John.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Sunday, April 11th, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 12th, 2010 at 11:00 am with Rev. Ken Weir as Celebrant. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
