KINGSBURY (Montrose), Vivian Myrtle - 66, East Mountain. It is with great sadness we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Vivian on Thursday, April 8, 2010, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born June 9, 1943, in Pugwash Junction, she was a daughter of the late Logan Hantz and Myrtle Vivian Montrose. Vivian worked at Lucien's Beauty School for 37 years and has spent the last number of years enjoying the time she got to spend with her grandchildren, whom she adored. She also enjoyed working in her garden and golfing with her friends. She was an amazing woman with a big heart and was loved by all. She will be deeply missed in all our lives. Vivian is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Lucien; son, Jimmy (Cindy) Lockhart; daughter, Darla (Mike) Bedell; grandchildren, Brayden, Nicholas, Daniel, Andrea; brother, Vernon (Brenda) Montrose; sister, Isabel (Ted) Lee; many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Hantz. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. All are welcome to attend a graveside funeral service 2 p.m., Monday, April 12, 2010, in Riverside Cemetery, Wallace River, Reverend Andy Crowell officiating. Family flowers only.
