Mary Rosalind Dolhanty, 70, of Florence passed away on Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Florence, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Margaret (Ross) Dolhanty.
Rosalind is survived by her daughters, Bernadette (Brian) Shannon, New Glasgow and Maureen (Steve) MacIsaac, Dartmouth and by Coleman Keigan. She will be sadly missed by the three loves of her life, her grandchildren, Stephanie MacIsaac, Florida, USA, Laura Shannon, Bathurst, N.B. and Colin Shannon, Kingston, Ont. Also surviving are her brothers, Stevie (Yvonne) Dolhanty, Sydney, Reggie (Rosalie) Dolhanty, Florence, Frank 'Duke' (Esther) Dolhanty, Sydney Mines and Brian, Florence.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister Dorothy in infancy.
Visitation Sunday from 7-9 p.m. in Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church, Florence with Father Thomas John officiating. Burial at a later date in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Bras d'Or.
