BASTOW, Elizabeth Robins (nee Chafe) - November 14, 1926 - April 1, 2010. It is with great sadness we announce the death of Elizabeth (Biz or Betty) Robins Bastow. She is predeceased by her husband Douglas and her son Paul. She is survived by her son David (Griselda) and by her grandchildren, Daniel, Katherine, Sara, Jennifer, Michael, (Paul) and Christopher and Samuel (David), and by her brother Elliott Chafe (Kathy Chisholm) and by Paul's loving partner, Wendy Finlayson. Mom fought a short but difficult fight with cancer. She fought with dignity and courage. She will be remembered for her spirit and conviction as well as the love and support she gave to her family. A memorial service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, Boal Chapel, at 1505 Lilloœt Rd., North Vancouver on Thursday April 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the BC Childrens Hospital in her name.
