Lillian "Lil" M. Gesner, 85, of McKees Mills, with her family at her side, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Clara (Wheaton) Taylor. Lillian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She attended McKees Mills Baptist Church and the Richibucto Golden Age Club and was a member and past Matron of Zetland OES Chapter #26. She enjoyed knitting, watching game shows, remembering her family's special days, watching hockey and in past years, was an avid supporter of the NB Hawks of the American Hockey League. First and foremost was spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lillian will be sadly missed by her husband of over 62 years, Moody Gesner; daughter, Wendy Fahey (Michael), McKees Mills; sons, Danny, Moncton, Ricky (Sheila), Athol, Mass.; grandchildren, Krista, Colleen, Lisa, Laura, Charles, Aaron; great grandchildren, Ella, MaKenzie, Sadiya, Paige; several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Iva and Dorothy; one brother, Don. No visitation by personal request.
