The death of Helen Forsyth of Kingston, wife of Sterling Forsyth, occurred May 1, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Oromocto, daughter of the late George and Theresa (Ward) Jones. Helen loved her dogs and she enjoyed gardening and helping others. She is survived by five daughters, Ann Hovey (Herman), Norton, Gail Coggan, Bradley Lake, Sharon Seary (Rob), Kennettcook, Janet Hourihan, Lower Sackville, NS, Pamela Hopey (Gerry), Willow Grove; two sons, Stephen Coggan (Clare), Kingston, Ronnie Coggan (Sue), Kingston; one step-daughter, Joan St. Onge, Saint John; three sisters, Phyllis Connelly (Jerry), Fredericton, Mary Trambly (Jean), Ottawa, ON, Ella Laking, Hamilton, ON; two brothers, Phil Jones (Marie), Scarborough, ON, Percy Jones (Joyce), Temperance Vale; 30 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Jamie Hopey.
Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton with visitation Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Alphonsus Church, Hampton, on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 10:00am. Interment will be in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Oromocto at 3:00pm. A reception will follow in St. Vincent de Paul Church Hall.
