It is with profound sadness that the family of Ralph Douglas Gorman announces his unexpected death on May 5th, 2010 at the age of 59. Born in Fredericton on January 28th, 1951 he was the son of the late Owen (Bud) and Edna Gorman. Ralph will be forever missed by his wife, Eldena and their three children who had the best Dad ever, Heather (Graham Little), Kelly (Doug Pare) and Mark (Mattie Beraty). He is also survived by his brother, Michael (Sue); his mother-in-law, Aldora (Dottie) Chase; brother-in-law, Ervin Chase (Corrie); several nieces and a nephew. Ralph, a Chartered Accountant, was a partner at Teed, Saunders, Doyle & Co. in Fredericton where his many clients and co-workers became his extended family. Ralph was known to everyone for his big smile and even bigger heart, but above all he was known for the love and devotion he showed his family each and every day.
Visitation will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home on Thursday, May 6th, 2010 from 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Wilmot United Church on Friday, May 7th, 2010 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Bob Jones officiating. Interment is to take place in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery.
