1926 - 2010 - Domelda Cormier, 84 of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Sainte-Marie de Kent, passed away peacefully at the Manoir on Monday, May 24th, 2010. She was married to the late Alonzo Cormier (1992). Born in Sainte-Marie de Kent on February 26, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Willie and the late Béatrice "Bella" (Pellerin) Bastarache. She will be sadly missed by her nine children, Aurella DesRoches (Raymond) of Dieppe, Francine Désprés (Joe) of McKees Mill, Norma Cormier (Jean-Marie) of Bouctouche, Rosemonde Pellerin (Gilles) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Odette Allain (Greg) of Waltham, Lauria, Léandre (Rose-Marie) both of Saint-Antoine, Clarence and Raymond both of Sainte-Marie de Kent, fourteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn, her four sisters, Mable Collette, Alexina Boucher both of Bouctouche, Rosita Breau (Edouard) of Saint-Paul, Jeannita Breau (Guy) of Moncton, three brothers, Alphonse (Thérèse) of Saint-Paul, Alcide of Saint-Antoine, Noel (Edith) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two daughters, Angèla and Nicole, two sons, Claude and Donald, one grand-daughter Chantal, and two brothers, Hector and Gerard.
Visitation will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 7 to 9 and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Marie de Kent Church on Thursday, May 27th, 2010 at 7:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
