Passed away in the presence of his immediate family after a short illness in his 65th year. He is predeceased by his parents James and Veronica (nee Dunne), special brother-in-law Bob Taylor and special sister-in-law Lena Taylor. He leaves to mourn his wife Margie; sons David (Julie), Bob (Kim) and Harold (Amanda); daughter Dr. Veronica Hutchings (Jeff); special grandson Sport (aka Jordan), and grandchildren Kyle, Brittany and Olivia; his brothers Jim and Fred, and his sisters Ruth Gushue, Ellen George and Marina Bulley and their families; and a large circle of extended family and other close friends. Resting at Fillatre's Funeral Home St. Mark's Avenue on Wednesday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer on Mt. Bernard Avenue on Friday, May 28th at 10:30 a.m. with Father Joe Gash officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital or, at the request of the deceased, please spend some quality time and enjoy a good meal with your own family.
