The death of Shirley Miller of Kingston, widow of Ronald Miller occurred May 25, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in French Village, daughter of the late Frederick Kellar and Violet (Steeves) (Kellar) Wilson. Shirley was a member of Hampton Branch 28 Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Hampton Seniors Resource Centre, and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed square dancing and playing bridge. She was a homemaker with Canadian Red Cross from 1986-1995. She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Lovegrove (Doug), Verona, ON; two sons, Wayne Miller (Marie), Kingston, and Jim Miller (Heather), Elmsdale, NS; one sister Lois Beyea (Harry), Hampton; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Curtis, Ronald and Hazen Kellar.
Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton with visitation Friday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held Saturday, 1:00pm, at Reid's Funeral Home with a reception following at Hampton Seniors Resource Centre. Interment will be in St. Andrews Anglican Church Cemetery, French Village at a later date. Memorials to NB Lung Association or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
