Passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, Leah Caroline Hulan, at her family residence in McKay's, NL, at the age of 87 years. She will be forever missed and loved by her children: Robert, Chesley (Rita), Charlotte (Roy) Fillatre, Edward (Elizabeth), Larry, Trent (Brenda); 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; stepbrothers: William (Midred) Fortune, Gerald (Cora) Fortune; stepsister, Classie Fortune; special friend and companion Pamela Shears, as well as a large number of friends and family. She was predeceased by husband, Walter William Hulan; parents: Edward and Charlotte Fortune; stepmother, Sarah; son, Eugene; sister, Charlotte; step sisters: Ethel and Calvina. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, Jeffrey's, from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon David Pearce officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
