September 10, 1951 - June 14, 2010

Passed peacefully away on Monday, June 14th, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Benjamin I. Sheehan at the age of 58. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years Lucy (nee Hickey), son John (Holly) and his precious granddaughter Chloe; sisters and brothers: Sarah Jesso, Mike (Luella), Mary (Kenny), Evelyn Dennis (Frank), Tom (Gail), Imelda Welshman (Frank), Vera Dennis (Bern), Irene Humber (Fred); aunt Nell Parsons; sisters-in-law Bride & Loretta Hickey, brothers-in-law Owen, Peter, Myles (Susan), Anthony (Cristal) and Benny; special friends Loretta, Helen and Janet; as well as a large number of nieces and nephews that were all very dear to him. He was predeceased by his parents John and Stella Sheehan, brother John Michael, mother and father-in-law Michael and Loretta Hickey, niece Peggy Sheehan and brother-in-law Albert Jesso. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, June 17th at 10:30 a.m. from Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Benoits Cove, Father Bernard Buckle officiating, followed by the interment at the church cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre`s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, Tuesday & Wednesday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.
