1926 - 2010 - Corinne Savoie, 83, of Villa Providence, Shediac, formerly of Moncton, NB, passed away on Thursday, June 24th 2010, at her residence. Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Alice (née: Downing) Leger. Mrs. Savoie was a member of Notre-Dame-de-Grace Parish. She is survived by two daughters: Diana (Jim) McSorley of Saint John and Linda (Frank) Richards of Notre-Dame; three sisters: Aurelie (late Arsène) Hebert and Edmée Leger, both of Moncton, Justine (late Jean-Paul) Maillet of Bouctouche; three brothers: Irenée (Dorice) Leger, Odule Leger and Léonide Leger, all three of Grande-Digue; four grandchildren: Vanessa and Alexander Richards and Charles and Mathieu LeBlanc as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her husband, Sylvain in 1976; her long time companion, Donald Caissie; one sister, Florence and also by two brothers: Aurèle and Alban.
By request, no visitation. A memorial service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Saturday, June 26th 2010, at 10 am.
