Daniel Bruno Halliday, 69, formerly of Sydney Mines, died peacefully at his home in Wilmington, Mass., on May 28, 2010.
He was the son of the late Cecil and Mary Catherine 'Tootsie' (MacNeil) Halliday.
Bruno is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Sanborn); sons, Dannie, Garth, Brad, Scott and Chad; daughter, Dorothy Plouffe; 17 grandchildren; brothers, Francis, Bill and Laird; sisters, Sheila Dennis, Beverly Jessome, Valerie MacPhee, Catherine Ahle, Brenda Livingstone and Donalda Andrews; many nieces, nephews and extended family in the area.
Besides his parents, Bruno was predeceased by an infant brother, Cecil.
Burial took place on June 3, 2010, at St. Thomas of Villanova Church, Wilmington, Mass.
Donations in Bruno's memory may be made to the Northside Palliative Care Society, the Sydney Mines Food Bank, or to a charity of one's choice.
