Passed away at home in Placentia on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. We wish to express our sincere thanks and gratitude for the time and care given to Nellie by so many - far too many to name here. A special thankyou to Carol Ann Hatfield and Elaine Maher (Placentia ); Betty Garland and the members of Nellie's Church Community (1st Presbyterian Church, Mineral Ridge, Ohio); Peggy Caldwell, (Nashville, Tenn); Bill and Beth Humeniuk (Youngstown, Ohio); her co-workers at Homes for Kids; and the health care workers at the various facilities who took such good care of Nellie. To all of you,our heartfelt thanks for having gone above and beyond anything we could have hoped. At Nellie's request, cremation has taken place. Come celebrate Nellie's life with us at The Three Sisters (Belle's) Restaurant in Placentia from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Donations in Nellie's memory may be made to Daffodil Place, St. John's. Memorial Service will be held at a later date at First Presbyterian Church, Mineral Ridge, Ohio.
