Surrounded by her family the death of Louise McGaghey, wife of Beverley "Bev" McGaghey occurred on Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on October 12, 1941 in Saint John to the late Robert and Grace "Lillian" (Atkins) McBrine. Louise worked in the dietary departments of the TB Hospital, General Hospital and Rocmaura Nursing Home until she was forced to retire in 1976. Besides Bev, her husband of over 40 years, Janet is survived by her son Shawn McGaghey of Saint John, one sister Shirley (Emile) Dyer; four brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and seven brothers and sisters.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
