The death of Helen Campbell, of St. Martins, NB widow of William Campbell occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, July 3, 2010. Helen was born in Burton, NB on August 15, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Walter and Jennie (Lyons) Hunter. Helen has been a resident of the St. Martins area for many years and was a member of the St. Martins Seniors club. She enjoyed playing cribbage on Monday nights at the Lions Manor. She will be missed by her many friends at the Manor. Helen was predeceased by a brother Alfred Hunter and a grandson Jody Marr. She is survived by her two daughters, Heather (Jerri) Marr (Murray) of Nerepis, NB and Sherry (Margaret) Lambert (James) of Pembroke, Maine and her son William (Bill) Campbell (Deborah) of Bains Corner, NB, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Although there is no visitation, friends are welcome to attend a funeral service be held at St. Martins United Church on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Interment in Mosher Hill Cemetery. Donations to St. Martins Senior Club or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
