Ernest Calvin Baxter - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Ernest Calvin Baxter. He passed away quietly in his sleep on July 14, 2010 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Ernie was that special husband, dad, grandfather, brother and uncle that everyone deserves. Ernie served 30 years with the Canadian Armed Forces, which included a tour in Egypt. He was Baptist by faith. He leaves to mourn his wife of 50 years, Elaine (Holland); a son, Curtis (Karyn); grandchildren, Adam and William; a daughter Katrina (Rob Comeau) and grandchildren, Rochelle and Josh; brother Malcolm (Delcia); sister Verna (Paul Nagle).
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place at the St. Martin's Community Cemetery.
