New Glasgow - Caroline "June" Moore, 83, of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2010, in Glen Haven Manor, where she had been a resident for the past four and a half years. Born in Georgetown, PEI, she was the youngest daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Irving) MacDonald. June is survived by son, Glenn (Karen), New Glasgow; grandson, Nicholas Moore, Truro; granddaughter, Lindsay Moore, New Glasgow; great-grandson, Ethan, Truro; sisters: Laura Moore, Sydney; Tean Westaway, New Glasgow; many nieces and nephews. June was predeceased by her husband Lindsay Moore, brothers, Jim, John, Wally, Irving and Glenn; sisters, Winnie, Helen and Thesta. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service 11 am Thursday in First United Baptist Church, New Glasgow with Rev. Leo Fletcher officiating. Reception to follow.
