Betty Hibberts

Betty Deloris Hibberts age 78, of Amherst, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at her home.
Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late George A. and Elsie (Rushton) Farrell.
Betty was a wonderful mother and will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed.
She leaves behind to mourn her only son, David Ricky, Amherst; grandson, Aaron; great grandson, Dominique David Joseph; great granddaughter, Dakota Lynn Kathleen; sisters, Debbie (Marvin) Powell, Doris Sears, of Springhill, NS, Dot Hannah, Oromocto, NB and Brenda Farrell, London, ON; brothers, Bob (Carol), Larry (Valerie), Dick and Jack all of Springhill, NS, and Gary (Shirley), Brookdale, NS; as well as many nieces, nephews and their families.
Betty was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Kelly (2007); as well as her brother Herb.
As per Betty's request, cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst (667-9906).
There will be no visitation. Friends and family are invited to a graveside committal service for Betty and her husband Joseph held on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Amherst Cemetery with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or CNIB in Betty's memory would be greatly appreciated.
