Joan Barbara Rogers, 93, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in England, July 23, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Lydia (Wheller) Winsor. Joan was a homemaker, former member of the Golden Age Club, Salisbury and enjoyed her crafts and day trips to the Jordan Life Care Centre.
She will be missed by her children Andrew (Barb), Madaline Mitton (Harry), Margaret MacLennan (Ron), Dorothy, Clara Noel (Roland), Esther Collett (late Clarence), Albert (Kim) and Sandra LeBlanc (Ulysses); 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; sister Stella Yates of England; several nieces and nephews and close family friend Darlene Mitchell. Predeceased by husband Burton (2002).
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visitation Sunday 6-9 pm and from where the funeral will be held Monday, August 2 at 11 am with Rev. Canon Wally Corey officiating. Interment at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
