Eva Bell Kincade beloved wife of Norval Kincade of East Saint John died peacefully with her loved ones around her on Thursday, July 29 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, August 30, 1924, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie (Allen) Nixon of Saint John.
Eva was raised in Saint John, attended local schools, and graduated from Saint John High School and Vocational School and several business schools. She worked at Pacific Dairy and General Dairy for years and stopped work to marry and raise a family.
To Eva, family was everything. She loved animals, (Especially cats and dogs). She loved flowers, reading, good music, watching TV, family dinners and gatherings. She was a believer in the teachings of Jesus Christ, an Anglican by faith.
She is survived by her husband Norval; two daughters Caroline Erickson (Michael) of Kingston, NB and Judy Brodersen (Blake) of Rothesay, NB; five grandchildren Robert Erickson (Amanda) of Moncton, Jeremy Erickson (Marie) of Hampton, NB, Melodie Erickson (Shawn Keddy) of Seoul, Korea, Garrett Brodersen of Fredericton, NB, and Etta Brodensen of Rothesay, NB; two great grandchildren Eva Grace and Hayden Erickson both of Hampton, NB; one brother George Nixon (Barb) of Quispamsis, NB; two brothers-in-law Ronald Kincade (Pauline) of Saint John and Steve Varga of Saint John; six sisters and brothers in law; Doris Maclean of Fredericton, Vera Erb (Murray Chapel) of Moncton, Betty Erb of Hampton, Valzora Todd (Ken) of Saint John, Margaret Shaw (Jimmy) of Grand Bay, Joanne Manning (Doug) of Mississauga, ON and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her loving son Allen.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Monday, August 2, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 2 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, remembrances to any charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
