The death occurred peacefully at the Townsview Life Care Centre in Hamilton, Ont., on August 1 of Robert F. Ward, eldest son of the late Douglas and
Muriel Ward.
He is survived by his sister, Marilyn Stoolmiller (Allen), and brothers Philip Ward (Jane) and Christopher Ward of P.E.I. He is also survived by his daughters, Margo Ward and Marilyn Allen (Jamie), stepdaughter Vikki Heald (Tim), and stepson, Greg Cox (Michele) and six grandchildren, all of Ontario.
Predeceased by his brother, Douglas, and his best friend and partner in life, Della Cox.
Resting at the Kitching Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home Limited, 146 Mill St., Waterdown, Ont., L0R 2H0. Interment to take place on August 14, 2010, at a private family memorial service.
