Anne Marie Holder, loving wife of Bruce Holder passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1935 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late William P. and Theresa (Jefferies) McBride. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by brother Jim McBride and nephew Terrance Gallant. Anne had worked as a Secretary for the Department of Justice and Great West Life Insurance. She dearly loved animals and enjoyed bird watching. She was a long time parishioner of St. Ann's Catholic Church. Anne was so proud of her children and grandchildren. Besides her loving husband Bruce of 48 years, she is survived by her son Jim Holder, daughter Paula Holder (David Gallant); grandchildren Samuel, Jonah, Georgia and Lucas; sister Theresa Gallant (Joseph); sisters-in-law Denise Frogley (Terry) and Ann McBride (Jim); canine companion Brandy; grand dog Jewely; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John on Friday, August 20, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ann's Church on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
