It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Rachel Robertson announce her passing at the Long Term Care facility in Corner Brook, NL on Sunday, August 29th, 2010, at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: her daughter-in-law, Yvonne; grandchildren: Fred (Kathryn), Rachel Leonard (Jim); great-granddaughters: Sarah Leonard and Hannah & Kimberley Robertson; sister, Agnes Fitzpatrick (Tom Brennan), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her son, Fred. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at All Hallows Catholic Church, Humber Road, on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Monsignor Jim Robertson. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic section of the Townsite Cemetery, Corner Brook. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road.
