HOAG, David Charles - 57, Truro, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, after a lengthy illness. David was the much loved son of Gwen Meyer, Truro, and the late John Hoag and was also predeceased by his brother, Mark Hoag; step-brother, Kenneth Meyer; beloved step-father, Kenneth Meyer. David was loved and will be missed by his brothers, John (Pauline), Paul (Susan); step-brothers, Randy (Aline), Daryl (Leslie); step-sisters, Wendy (Ben) Johnson, Sherrill Meyer. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where a celebration of David's life will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2010, Reverend Kaj Binderup officiating. Reception will follow. Interment in Bible Hill Cemetery. If so desired, donations in David's memory to a charity of choice are welcomed.
