Nettie M. Graham, 76, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton, NB and formerly of Hamilton, Ontario, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Born in Millstream, NB, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Florence (Bannister) Gillis. Nettie attended St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, was a former employee of Woolworth Co. Ltd., Main St., Moncton and a retired Canada Post postal clerk in Hamilton, Ontario, with over 20 years service. She enjoyed doing puzzles, watching her favorite TV show "Mash" and socializing with her family and friends.
Nettie will be sadly missed by her daughter, Colleen Boucher (David), Moncton; granddaughter, Emily Boucher, Moncton; sister, Florence Bedek, Hamilton, ON; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Mary, Katie and Anna; one brother, Lawrence.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995), Thursday, 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service, Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, September 3, 2010, 10:30am, Rev. Yvon Arsenault officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Cemetery, Robie St., Truro, NS on Friday, September 3, 2010, 3:00 pm.
