M. Carmel Marshall, age 60 of Amherst, NS, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at The Moncton City Hospital.
Born in Dalhousie, NB, she was a daughter of the late Alban and Inez (Hickey) Mazerolle.
Carmel's passion was music and crafts including, tole, oils, crocheting and many others.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jeff; two daughters, Jennie-Anne, Amherst and Megan (fiancé, Greg), Truro; also survived by her sister, Janet (Jean-Louis) Briaud, College Station, TX; brothers, Dan (Kathy), Dartmouth, NS, Rae (Lynn), Dalhousie, NB, and Paul (Carole), Memramcook, NB; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Besides her parents, Carmel was predeceased by her brother, David.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst (667-9906).
As per Carmel's wishes, there will be no visitation, however a service will be held at Christ Church in Amherst on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Archdeacon Glenn Eason and The Rev. Charlotte Ross presiding. All are welcome and there will be a reception to follow. Interment will take place in the Christ Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd Restoration Fund; the Canadian Diabetic Association, or the charity of your choice, as this would be greatly appreciated by Carmel's family.
