BRAKE, Annie Velma (nee Pelley)- Passed peacefully away at home on September 2, 2010 surrounded by her loving family, Annie Brake, aged 88 years. Leaving to mourn her husband of 64 years, Matthew; children Bob (Paulette), Jeanette (Allan), Marguerite (Jeff), Glenda (Orest), Suzanne (Bob), Kathy (John), Sharon (Peter), Derrick (Betty) and Kim (Jeff); grandmother to Jill (Bryan), Robert (Trish), Brian, Jenny (Scott), Marcy (Jay), Nick (Jess), Tom (Jill), Jessica, Sarah (Luke), Aimee (Kai), Jennifer (Paul), Ashley (Kevin), Brett, Kristen, Christopher and Rachel; great-grandmother of Donald, Sarah-Jane, Ava, Hannah, Kenadee and Breena; sister to Marguerite; sister-in-law to Helen, Vivian and Paul; also leaving to celebrate her life her caregiver Marie Tilley and a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from St. James United Church on Monday, September 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
