James Andrew Hughes
At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, of James Andrew Hughes of Hunter River, age 45 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Adrienne (Weller); and by his daughter (his little princess), Summer Lauren; and by his faithful companion, Hershey. James is remembered by his parents, Reg and Margaret Rose Hughes; by his siblings, Nancy Hughes, Sheila Hughes (John Gallant), Larry Hughes (Juanita); by his parents-in-law, Ron and Sharon Weller; and by his sister-in-law, Cathy Major. He was a caring uncle to Vaughn and Beckie MacDonald, Jordan, Taylor and Conor Storey, Mariah and Kurt Hughes, Erik and Cecily Major.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visitation Thursday 6-9 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre of the QEH.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you at this time. I was unable to see James and family as often as I would have liked, but we always had fun when I was able. I remember helping him when he was building his house, and many other pleasureable visits together. One time I we spent the day together while I helped him band ducks, we had a great many laughs over the years, I'll miss him. I'm so sorry to be writing this memorial, my thoughts are with you all.
