On Tuesday, September 7th, 2010 ROATHA GERTRUDE FRASER passed away at home at the age of 89 years. Widow of the late Vincent Calvin Fraser and daughter of the late Abel and Carrie (Flemming) Bishop, she is survived by her children Anna Lang of Nauwigewauk, Mary (Wayne) Alexander of Hampton, Robert Fraser of Minto and daughter-in-law Etta Fraser of Chipman; by sister Ruth (Francis) Fulton of Chipman; by seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Andrew) MacFarlane, Shelly (Dan) Keddy, Carl and Carla Lang, Kelly (Rodney) Hopkins, Melvin (Irene) Fraser and Kevin (Karen) Fraser; by four great-grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by sisters Etha Brown and Helen Gesner and by brothers, Robert and Frank Bishop.
Resting at Chipman Funeral Home until Thursday, September 9th, 2010 when funeral service will be held at the Second Chipman United Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with Pastor David Egers officiating. Visitation is Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Kelly Hopkins Fund or donor's choice, would be appreciated by the family. Condolences may be offered through www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca
